Managing Departments

PURPOSE:

Departments are the second level of the required organizational chart in AiM.  AiM Departments cannot have people or accounts associated with them and therefore they are mostly figure heads for a useable organizational chart as it exists at UConn.

 

PROCEDURE:

1. Select the Human Resources link from the Main WorkDesk Menu.
2. Click the link to the Department.
3. Click Search and Execute to search Departments.
The decision was made to have three departments to align with the three executive branches currently at UConn.
Each executive level reports to the UConn Institution.

 


ROLES USED:

 

The System Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing the Human Resources module its configuration and functionality.
