Configure Location Type

 

PURPOSE:

The Location type is used as a tool to define, normally for reporting purposes, a kind of Place. As a location type is modified for a location, the history is updated.

 

 

PROCEDURE:

 

1. Click Location Type under Property Module.

 

 

2. Click New, enter Location Type name, description and sequence number. Select status flag, set active to Yes. Then, click Save.

 

 

The current Location Types in AiM are based on FICM, Facilities Inventory Classification Manual.

 

 


 

ROLES USED:

 

  1. System Administrator:

System Administrator is responsible for managing and configuring Property Module, troubleshooting and ensuring all screens are working properly.
